Temple Beth El maintains a secondary database of people who have attended programs, made donations or previously expressed interest in our temple. Use of this information is governed by the opt-in/opt-out policies outlined below.

Temple Beth El does not release your personally identifying information to third parties unless you have given us permission to do so or unless such release is required to comply with the law or to protect the rights or safety of Temple Beth El or our website users. Information that is collected will be used solely for the purpose for which it is given or to inform you of Temple Beth El events and resources.

Registration
On certain parts of our site (mainly registration forms and school enrollment), users are required to give contact information (such as their names and email addresses) and unique identifiers (such as account numbers or congregational information). This information is used to send users the information they request and/or to fulfill orders that are created online. The contact information may also be used to contact the visitor when necessary. Unique identifiers (such as account numbers) are collected for use as account numbers in our record system. Congregational or account information submitted by users may be used to verify and protect users identity when they are conducting online transactions through our web site.

Refunds
Refunds will typically be given for cancellations initiated by Temple Beth El and may be given for cancellations initiated by the purchaser, depending on the circumstances surrounding the refund request.   Refunds will typically be credited back to the credit card payment was applied to.  If a member is delinquent in their obligations to Temple Beth El, the refund will be applied to their outstanding account balance.
